Lunchtime. It was all South Indian food all the time. On the traditional stainless steel plates, sans cutlery (I did acquire a spoon initially… but by the end of my time there I was doing alright with the chapatti/finger shovel technique. It is possible to look graceful while eating with one’s fingers amazingly enough. Not for me it isn’t, but for some people.) It is more difficult to take photos when you are using your digits as utensils though.

I also had the opportunity to serve food once a day from those impressive steel buckets, which never stopped reminding me of Mr. Creosote in The Meaning of Life. It is true there may be something wrong with my brain.
