A lovely evening spent on the roof… saying farewell to the Lord of the Manor as he heads out for his summer holidays. Yummy snacks and interesting wines and hilarious stories of scousers, swindles, travels and yak butter tea.

Still playing with depth of field and composition, sadly the photo of the bottle of wine was not ideal because tonight we drank wine from Petaluma, Australia, which I obviously think is quite cool… but cooler still was that there was an Aussie from Petaluma there too. What are the chances of that happening? Two people from Petaluma – one Petaluma, CA and the other Petaluma, NSW, AU, sitting at a table enjoying a cab merlot from Petaluma along with a Frenchie, three Englishmen, one Chinese, two Americans, one Vietnamese and a Russian (it sounds like the set up for a very elaborate joke, I know.)

Only in Hong Kong you might say.

And so, good night.
