It is reported that currently there are more Americans living in Hong Kong than any other expatriate group. Oddly, the Americans I see mostly tend to be larger than life. Like this image I have been walking past every day for the past couple of weeks. Omega is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the first mission to the moon (20 July 2009) with this image of JFK from his Rice University speech at Rice University, 12 September 1962: “We choose to go to the moon.” There is a lot of irony here if you consider all the reflections in the glass superimposed on the subject and, of course, it’s existence at all in HKG, SAR of the PRC. I love all of this.
